Biography

Amanda Charlton identifies as an expressionist painter specializing in landscapes and wildlife art, striving to convey the energetic currents that connect all living things. An ultra-marathon runner and exceedingly passionate about nature, Charlton conveys the movement that this passion has added to her life. As a professional horse trainer and 2017 Mongol Derby (world's longest horse race) competitor, equines frequently make an appearance in her work — always in connection to their natural environments. Charlton incorporates the vibrancy of Western landscapes into her work as a result of her experiences in Wyoming, California, Colorado and, now, her life in Utah.
